City of Georgetown Earth Day Recycling Event 2021

City of Georgetown is partnering with All Things Wild Rehabilitation to celebrate Earth Day 2021!

Bring a donation for All Things Wild and dispose of paper, tires, or electronics at no charge.

All Things Wild requested donations are listed below and here:

Date: April 24, 2021
Time: Noon to 4:00PM
Location: 1953 Maple Street (Purl Elementary)

What can you bring for disposal?
– Bags or small boxes of paper to be shredded on-site. Limit 3 bags per person.
– Tires: up to four tires per automobile
– Electronics: tablets, phones, televisions, or other electronic devices. IT Recycling will destroy any data before recycling components.

Please DO NOT put anything other than paper in your paper shred bags and boxes including oxygen bottles and batteries.


All Things Wild –

Residents may make a financial contribution or bring one or more of the items listed below:
(No blankets or cloth towels are needed)

Cleaning, Housekeeping, and Office Supplies
Paper towels
Toilet paper (preferably 1 ply for septic system)
Floor cleaner, e.g., Fabuloso or Pine Sol
Liquid dish soap
Washing machine soap
Bleach, e.g., Clorox
Dryer sheets
Hand soap refill
409 Multi-surface Cleaner or similar product
Hand sanitizer
Newspaper (call first 512-897-0806)
Printing paper
Printer ink cartridge HP 61 or HP 61xl

Animal Products
Pedialyte or generic equivalent
Black-oil sunflower seeds
Mixed wild bird seeds
Dog/cat dry food (kibble)
Cans of dog/cat wet food
Baby shampoo
Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Formula (pet store)
Esbilac Puppy Milk Replacer (powder formula)
Fresh green, vegetables, and fruit (call first 512-897-0806)
